Connect Assistant Core MCP to Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude on mobile.
Claude.ai and Claude Desktop
Claude adds Assistant Core MCP as a custom connector, shared between Claude on the web and Claude Desktop. The Free plan allows one custom connector.
- Open Claude and go to Settings → Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Fill in:

https://api.assistantcore.com/mcp - Leave OAuth Client ID and Secret empty.
- Name:
- Click Add, then Connect on the new connector.
- Sign in to Assistant Core, pick the assistants and access level, and click Allow. See Granting access.
- In a new chat, click + in the message box and turn on the Assistant Core connector.
Try: "List my assistants and the model each one uses."
On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner adds the connector in organization settings first. Each member then clicks Connect to sign in with their own Assistant Core account.
Claude asks before running tools that edit or delete. In the connector settings you can set each tool to always allow, ask, or off. Keep update_assistant and delete_knowledge on ask.

Claude on mobile
Connectors added on Claude.ai or Claude Desktop are available in the Claude iOS and Android apps. Turn the connector on in a chat the same way as on the web.
