Conversation History
Browse, search, pin, rename, and delete your past conversations.
Sidebar
The sidebar on the left shows your conversation history, organized by time:
- Pinned — Conversations you've pinned to the top
- Today / Yesterday / Last 7 Days / Last 30 Days / Older
Navigation items

Collapse & Expand
- On desktop, click the sidebar toggle button (top-left) to collapse to an icon-only view
- Click any icon in the collapsed sidebar to expand it
- On mobile, tap the ☰ menu button to open the sidebar
Searching Conversations
Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to find conversations by title. Search runs across your saved conversations as you type.
History Modal
Click History in the sidebar to open the History modal. It provides a larger searchable list with the same time groups and conversation actions.
Conversation Actions
Hover over a conversation and open its ⋮ menu to access actions:
Rename
- Click the ✏️ rename option
- Type the new title
- Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel
Pin / Unpin
Click 📌 Pin to keep a conversation at the top of your list. Pinned conversations always appear in the "Pinned" section above the time-based groups.
Delete
Click 🗑️ Delete to permanently remove a conversation and all its messages. This action cannot be undone.
Deleting a conversation removes all messages permanently. If the deleted conversation is currently open, you'll be redirected to a new chat.
New Chat
Start a fresh conversation in any of these ways:
- Click New chat in the sidebar
- Click the assistant logo while the sidebar is expanded
- On mobile, click the new-chat button in the header
