Conversation History
Browse, search, pin, rename, and delete your past conversations.
Sidebar
The sidebar on the left shows your conversation history, organized by time:
- Pinned — Conversations you've pinned to the top
- Today / Yesterday / Last 7 Days / Last 30 Days / Older
Navigation items
| Item | Description |

| Chat | Start a new conversation |
| Documents | Open the Knowledge Base panel (if enabled) |
| History | Expand/collapse the conversation list |
Collapse & Expand
- On desktop, click the sidebar toggle button (top-left) to collapse to an icon-only view
- Click any icon in the collapsed sidebar to expand it
- On mobile, tap the ☰ menu button to open the sidebar
Searching Conversations
Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to find conversations by title. Results filter instantly as you type.
History Modal
Click the 🔍 search button in the header to open the full-screen History Modal. This provides a more comprehensive search experience across all your conversations.
Conversation Actions
Right-click or hover over a conversation in the sidebar to access actions:
Rename
- Click the ✏️ rename option
- Type the new title
- Press Enter to save or Escape to cancel
Pin / Unpin
Click 📌 Pin to keep a conversation at the top of your list. Pinned conversations always appear in the "Pinned" section above the time-based groups.
Delete
Click 🗑️ Delete to permanently remove a conversation and all its messages. This action cannot be undone.
Deleting a conversation removes all messages permanently. If the deleted conversation is currently open, you'll be redirected to a new chat.
New Chat
Start a fresh conversation in any of these ways:
- Click the ✏️ New Chat button in the header
- Click Chat in the sidebar navigation
- Click the assistant logo in the sidebar
